Job description

Oryana Community Co-op’s 10th Street location is seeking a Culinary Manager to support the Culinary team and associated sub-departments including our Kitchen, Bakery and Café. The Culinary Manager provides support by curating an exceptional customer experience while also managing product quality, consistency, pricing, margin, and merchandising. This role regularly spends time in each sub-department to maintain knowledge and support staff while guiding, directing, and coaching Culinary Leadership to ensure all functions of the department have sufficient levels of backup and support.

The ideal candidate will have prior supervisory and culinary experience and will be trained, or willing to be trained, in a food safety certification program. Open availability is required including some evening and weekend hours.
 

The starting salary for this position will be $50k - 60k annually, experience considered. Oryana employees receive a great store discount (25% off most purchases), paid time-off and other benefits including Health, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance, and 401k with employer match.
