Company description
Prairie Foods is an Amish-owned farm and private buying club. We’re committed to providing our customers with the healthiest, most nutritionally-dense foods possible. We believe the key to this lies in the health of our soils and in the welfare of our animals. We believe regenerative farming is the way God intended our ecosystem to function.
We provide 100% grass fed beef and dairy, pastured pork, pastured eggs and chicken, maple syrup, sourdough bread, ancient grains, raw honey, and much more. All of our foods are produced as naturally as possible. We ship and have pickup locations in the eastern half of the US.
It’s our mission to help regenerative farmers thrive by connecting them directly with customers who want and need their food. We are looking to continue to grow our following and sales for years to come.
Job description
We are looking for a positive, gung-ho person to provide consistent, creative, and top-notch marketing content that will make Prairie Foods grow. We want to attract new customers and maintain the ones we have, too.
On a monthly basis, you will be responsible for providing:
- 2 newsletters
- Up to 2 update emails featuring new products, pickup locations, sales, events, etc
- 4 social media posts on Facebook and Instagram (will need to create the accounts from scratch)
- 8 social media stories
- Responding to social media comments and messages within 24 hours
- 1 website update to keep the site accurate.
- 1 report on KPIs and metrics with your analysis.
In order to do this, you will need to be in steady contact with Dan, the owner, to find out what’s new and exciting. You may have a few weekly phone calls and emails to make that happen.
Of course, this is simply the minimum requirement. We are looking for someone who will go above and beyond. Since part of your pay is based on commission, the more the farm succeeds, the more your commission earnings go up.
