Job description

$100 per tasting - event lasting 2 or 3 hours of work.

Must have access to a car and valid driver's license.

Looking for people to cover the following areas: Boston/Greater Boston, Northeast Mass (Lawrence to Salem) and Berkshire County. 

Brand Associate 

Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, our Brand Associate will support our mission by conducting tastings of our award winning No 14 Bourbon at various venue in order to grow sales.

Requirements

Along with interest in craft spirits, Brand Associate positions require:

• Strong customer service orientation (the shy need not apply). 
• Availability for a few hours on Friday and Saturday nights .
• Ability to be productive while working independently and within a team environment.
• Ability to organize work, record and report on activities, and communicate effectively with management and team members.
• A knowledge of - and appreciation for - Vermont Spirits and our brands is helpful.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting brand samplings at liquor stores for the public. 
• Discussing product details with customers, and people in the spirits industry - particularly spirit shop owners and employees.
• Staffing retail store tastings and other promotional events (where strategically meaningful) as assigned.
• Engage with and provide product education to consumers.
• Report activities and interact with management and the VSDC team.

This is a seasonal, part-time sales role that allows for a flexible schedule, though weekend nights and days are the norm.
