Job description
ABOUT THE POSITION: This is the eleventh year we will offer this apprenticeship. It is an opportunity to get to know your local edible flora and fungi from an expert guide. The position entails participating in some of or all aspects of the operation: learning to identify, harvest, process, and deliver product, as well as other aspects of running a small business. This position is for a part-time or full-time candidate for approximately eight weeks, from late-March to mid-May.
REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must have a good work ethic, attention for detail, flexibility to adjust to the season as it presents itself, a positive attitude, and enjoy working outside in most any kind of weather. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds and experience. Having one's own transportation is helpful, but perhaps not necessary.
Compensation
this position is: hourly, varies DOE, $15.00 - $20.00
