This is a full-time position, available remote, on-site at the beautiful Corto mill in Lodi, CA or office at Stanislaus Food Products, in Modesto, CA.
We are seeking an entrepreneurial, innovative, and growth-mindset-driven individual to join our team as Ecommerce Growth Marketing Manager. As our Ecommerce Growth Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in helping our brand and DTC ecommerce business grow and thrive.
This position will be primarily responsible for all activities related to generating Corto’s ecommerce business revenue and profit:
- Ecommerce Roadmap
- Develop and manage the site roadmap, including UX, functionality, content, and product launches.
- Analyze site metrics and identify and execute on enhancements to optimize
- Manage all 3rd Party Site experience platforms including site pop ups, referral program, leads generation program, subscription program, Amazon.
- Understand the customer journey and optimize user experience online. Conduct consistent testing to improve conversion rates and site performance.
- Collaborate with VP of Marketing to formulate and execute comprehensive brand ecommerce strategy.
- Participate in the development of marketing plans, ensuring alignment with overarching brand goals.
- New Product Development & Launch
- Ideate and develop pipeline of new and creative ecommerce product ideas with cross functional team member input across both Corto and Stanislaus Food Products.
- Research, identify, and develop partnerships with the hottest consumer brands in the gourmet food space for collaboration opportunities.
- Develop financially-viable product packaging for successful new ecommerce product launches.
- Collaborate with designers, agencies and photographers to create visually appealing print materials, including ecommerce brochures, catalogs, and promotional materials.
- Ensure print materials align with brand guidelines and convey a consistent brand image.
- Partner with Stanislaus marketing team to liaise with external vendors/printers to manage production of print collateral.
- Digital Marketing
- Build brand awareness, excitement and cultivate customer engagement by creating compelling and shareable content for editorial calendar.
- Manage all paid social media advertising, working with agency to ideate, create and test content.
- Manage organic SEO to improve site positioning for vital keywords. Test, manage and optimize paid SEM.
- Manage email and SMS marketing efforts to deliver regular campaigns. Create and optimize automated flows to improve customer acquisition, retention and segmentation.
- Nurture and grow affiliate marketing program including traditional digital media and social influencers.
- Establish loyalty program to improve customer retention through both monetary and non-monetary incentivization.
- Collaborate with the VP of Marketing to establish growth marketing goals. Regularly report on related KPIs and provide recommendations for improving performance.
- Collaborate with PR agency to ensure brand is news-worthy, on-trend, and driving buzz onto both Corto’s ecommerce and food service businesses.
- Forecasting & Analysis
- Build monthly and yearly revenue targets based on marketing channel growth, customer acquisition, and inventory.
- Forecast annual, monthly, and daily revenue based on product launches, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
- Analyze campaign metrics, product sales and site performance.
- Customer Experience
- Develop copy and messaging for all channels: web site product pages, blogs, email, print, text, social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.).
- Conduct customer research using surveys, site metrics and heat maps.
- Work with Customer Service We Care team to ensure legendary customer service, including Club Corto member management.
- Work with social media team to ensure social media questions and comments are addressed timeline and in line with best practices.
- Work with Corto ecommerce fulfillment team and Customer Service We Care team to optimize purchase (and return) process for a seamless experience.
- Assist with other duties in support of Marketing Department needs, as determined by the Corto VP of Marketing.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field required
- 5+ years’ experience with demonstrated results in driving ecommerce sales. Shopify experience preferred
- Depth of experience with paid social media including developing, testing and optimizing campaigns
- Working knowledge of key analytics and research tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console and SEMrush
- Experience driving and scaling digital marketing space and managing 3 party agencies
- Strong results-orientation, organization and analytic skills
- Self-motivated, creative thinker with strong problem solving and decision-making skills while collaborating with team members
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Candidate Preferences:
- Possess a firm understanding of email marketing best practices; experience with Klaviyo.
- Passion for gourmet food. Experience with olive oil and food start-ups a plus.
- A love for ecommerce and innovation in food
