Delish is searching for an enterprising and creative Freelance Digital Production Assistant. As a contributor to the Food Production Team, the candidate will be responsible for building recipes in Delish’s CMS, creating and updating SEO galleries, editing recipe intros, and assisting the team with various tasks as needed. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a CMS, have some experience and/or interest in either cooking or food editing, be an endless source of ideas, interested in best SEO practices, and keep up with a fast-paced environment. The candidate should be hyper-organized, detail-oriented, and a strong editor. Note: This is a freelance contributor position where you will work on a certain number of assignments per month for a project fee. 

 

What you’ll do:

• Build freelancer/print recipes in Delish’s CMS
• Update old and build new recipe galleries/roundups
• Help edit recipe/gallery introductions with best SEO practices in mind
• Assist with various long-term print & recipe projects
• Liaise with the Food Production Team to optimize best practices and processes

Who you are:

• A food-obsessed editor who’s interested in online media and is a stickler for deadlines
• <1 year experience in food/digital media
• Dialed in to food trends and seasonality
• Someone who has a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail
• Have a commitment to respectfully providing context for recipes
• A team player and lover of fast-paced, collaborative environments
• Organized, proactive, and can stay on top of deadlines and shifting priorities

Compensation

this position is: hourly, $15-20/hr
