Job description

New Amsterdam Market is an economic development organization that seeks to revive the old Fulton Fish Market site—including two historic buildings that have sat empty and unused since 2005—as a new public market that will anchor the East River Esplanade as a premier destination for New Yorkers and visitors from around the world.  Markets currently take place every Sunday through December (except holiday weekends) in the parking lot in front of the Fulton Fish Market building, on South Street between Beekman Street and Peck Slip.

New Amsterdam Market is looking to hire a smart and motivated intern to help the Market transition into the next stage as an organization. The intern will undertake significant research and organization projects that are key to the growth of the organization.
