Colette Bread & Bakeshop is a young and very busy wholesale and retail bakery specializing in naturally fermented breads and traditional pastry. We are neighborhood centric with loyal clientele who sometimes come everyday to get their bread and pastry. We are looking for a lead baker/manager to help take us to the next level and expand our offerings and hours.
Job description
We are looking for a bakery manager/ leader to help lead this team into the next step of our existence! Colette opened with a bang, with long lines everyday we are open and we are looking for someone who wants to join this fast paced, high standards operation.
The daily responsibilities of our Lead Baker/ Manager include but are not limited to: leading the team in it's daily bakes, completing daily pars for wholesale and retail, managing quality, scheduling, inventory control, and general daily delegation of day to day tasks.
Applicant must have previous bakery experience. Must have a background in mising ingredients, knife work, and is highly preferred they have an understanding of basics like scones, muffins, flaky dough, etc...
In general, this role is responsible for making sure our wholesale orders get out on time, our retail shelves our stocked with high quality bread and pastry, and our staff is staying on task throughout their shifts.
Traits of the position include: self starter, comprehension of general basic baking skills, motivated to learn and grow, strong leadership skills and ability to delegate and teach others to allow us to grow. Also must be clean, organized, and have a strong ability to think ahead and anticipate.

Compensation
this position is: hourly, varies DOE, $19.00 - $24.00
