Lead Cook for Postpartum Meal Delivery Service

Position: Lead Cook
Location: Richmond, California (Serving North Bay, East Bay, San Jose, and San Francisco)
Hours: Part-time (Sundays, Tuesdays, & Thursdays, 4-6 hours per day) Pay: $22-30 per hour (depending on experience)

Responsibilities: In the role of Lead Cook, your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Crafting meals using the finest, locally sourced, organic ingredients.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to food safety and hygiene protocols. Food Handlers Certification required.
  • Collaborating closely with our team to develop menus designed to cater to the unique needs of postpartum families.
  • Maintaining a calm and focused presence in our bustling kitchen.
  • Safely delivering meals to our valued customers.
  • Able to handle items weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Wearing non-slip kitchen shoes for safety.
  • Keeping our kitchen workspace impeccably clean and organized.

Qualifications: To shine in this role, you should bring:

  • A few years of experience working in kitchens or restaurants.
  • A current and valid ServSafe certification.
  • A meticulous approach to following recipes with precision.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Hours: Your typical work hours will span from early morning to early afternoon, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule that respects your well-being.
