We offer distribution and freight services to farmers and producers throughout our region. We source from within the Northeast as a rule, and the majority of our sources are certified organic. We specialize in fresh produce and carry fresh fruit, eggs, meat, cheese, grains, flowers, and added value products as well. We deliver primarily to independent retail stores and restaurants in New York City, the Greater Boston Area, and the Cape.
Job description
We are seeking an individual to fill the Operations Coordinator role within our Operations Team in Hadley, MA.
As the Operations Coordinator, your schedule will initially include two weekly driving shifts, and three weekly shifts working on various Operations projects, for a total of approximately 40 hours per week. After you have gained a foundational understanding of our routes and our vehicles, your schedule will shift to include consistent managerial responsibilities.
Operations projects involve tasks related to routing, dispatch, receiving, warehouse workflow, vehicle compliance, vehicle maintenance, and warehouse maintenance. Driving shifts involve driving a 18-ft Cabover Truck or Ford Transit Van from our hub in Hadley to destinations in Boston and Vermont.

- Has experience driving trucks or vans for work

- Is proficient in Microsoft Office
- Has a smartphone
- Has a valid driver’s license (CDL is not required).
Commitment:
- We are looking to fill this position as soon as possible.
- One-year commitment preferred.
Compensation
this position is: salaried, $35,568* - $50,000
