Job description

Bakery in Point Breeze focused on allergen free and vegan bread, bagels, pastry, cookies, cakes and sweet breads. We are looking for experienced kitchen hands/bakers to join the team.

Responsibilities:
Prepare assorted baked goods according to established recipes
Maintain a clean kitchen and adhere to health and safety standards
Manage stock
Finish pastries, cakes and sweet breads.

Requirements:
Commercial Baking or food industry experience of at least 1year; additional training will be provided.
MUST be able to work quickly, clean and thoroughly.
MUST be able to lift up to 50lbs.
MUST be able to stand for entirety of shift.
Driver's license would be a bonus.
Open to feedback and good communication.

Compensation includes subsidized health benefits (medical, dental, vision) after 2-month period, flexible time off, 40hrs earned paid time off after 6months.

Compensation

this position is: hourly, $15-20/hr
