Daily Chew in Atlanta, GA is looking for a full-time and or part time (with open weekend availability) barista /FOH to join the team of your neighborhood cafe, Daily Chew. We would like to hear from you if you are passionate about coffee, people, creating a welcoming environment, and honoring our local community and the farmers we work with. Previous barista experience of 1 year or more is preferred but not specifically required. People of all backgrounds are welcome to apply.
As barista/FOH with Daily Chew you will be responsible for:
- Being knowledgeable about Daily Chew’s mission, partnerships with local farmers, beverage, and food menu
- Being knowledgeable about the coffee served from local roaster BRASH Coffee and Tan Brown
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, welcoming and assisting guests
- Creating cold and hot beverages according to DC/BRASH standards
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment according to health and safety standards
- Communicating effectively with coworkers and management
- Bussing tables and running food
- Keeping provisions and pastry case stocked
- Opening, and closing duties
- Working with respect, integrity, and humility
- Passionate about coffee, great food, and community.
Compensation
this position is: hourly, $15-20/hr
