Come work with an amazing team of farmers. Does harvesting kale make you smile? Do you crave the smell of fresh tomatoes and the dirty hands that come with harvesting? Join us in the fields. 
 

Skills and Experience:

We are looking for positive, reliable, responsible, and hardworking individuals who have a strong desire to work on an organic farm.

• This position is responsible for a variety of tasks on the farm including,

  • Harvesting vegetables
  • Post-Harvest/Wash Station work (washing, bunching, quality control, packing)
  • Planting, Irrigation and weeding 
  • High Tunnel Crop Production & Trellising (mainly tomatoes)
  • Farmers Market and CSA distribution (if needed)

   Requirements:

  • Willingness to commit to the farm for the summer and fall season
  • Strong back and knees, and the ability to lift heavy objects, up to 50lbs
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
  • Energetic and motivated personality
  • Consistent attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of organic vegetable production and a genuine curiosity to learn more
  • Be able to take direction and ask for clarification if needed
  • Must adhere to safety protocols at all times
  • Able to pass a background check due to our work with youth
  • Excellent work ethic and positive attitude
  • Conscientious and able to work with all kinds of people

   

Compensation

this position is: hourly, $15-20/hr
