Assistant Baker
We are looking for part time and full time bakers to join our growing team in our newly expanded bakery!
This is a fast paced kitchen and requires focus and a high attention to detail. We are well known for our housemade breakfast pastries, croissants, scones and seasonal tarts. We also make a variety of petit cakes, cookies, granolas, custards, jams and some small production breads.
Ideal Candidates:

1 year of professional baking experience

Comfortable using a scale and measuring large volumes of ingredients

Able to read and execute recipes accurately

Able to manage your own time and daily production list

Desire to learn

Ability to process information quickly and accurately

Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly and be able to stand for long periods of time

Recognition of short term and long term priorities
Full time shifts start at 4 am with some potential evening and weekend availability.
Because the early morning shifts begin before public transportation, we only
recommend that applicants with reliable access to a vehicle or ride share program
apply. Timeliness is essential, which may preclude the use of ride share programs as
transportation.
Part- time Bakers:
Part time candidates must be available a minimum of two nights a week and shifts are 2pm- 7pm Monday through Friday. Ideal candidates will have some prior baking experience, but we are willing to train those who are passionate about Pastry and have a desire to learn. Bakers will be responsible for large scale production of, but are not limited to:

Packaging items for retail

Assembling and finishing cakes

Various custards, mousse and puddings
