Company description
About Us:
We are an eclectic farm to table restaurant located in a small farmhouse in Fayetteville, Arkansas. We opened in 2014 and we’ve worked hard these past 8 years to earn a loyal following. We are known for our homey atmosphere, friendly customer service, and amazing food, long lines out the door, and surprise celebrity pop-ins..... Our sweet potato pancakes are legendary. We are a leader in the ever-growing local food scene in Northwest Arkansas and have gained much national recognition as well.
Here’s one segment from P. Allen Smith about us: https://pallensmith.com/2017/06/06/farmers-table-model-farm-table-movement/
We are also proud to be a zero waste restaurant, composting all plate scrapings and kitchen scraps to a local farm where chickens and earthworms recycle our waste back into food that is grown for the cafe. We work with over 30 different farmers weekly to purchase 80+% of our ingredients locally. Our menu rotates with the crops, and we utilize Farmer’s Plate specials to highlight some of the gorgeous products we get. The Ozarks offer a wide variety of meats, fruits, vegetables, nuts, and grains and we are lucky to enjoy close working relationships with some of the best farmers in the state.
We are in the process of an expansion, adding cocktail service and extending our offerings from breakfast/brunch/lunch into early supper/happy hour. We are adding on to our cafe home and will be reopening in Spring 2022. This is an exciting time for our business and we are looking for the right person to help us grow. We are a well-established operation with a close-knit team, looking for an independent, creative, organized, forward-thinking teammate to work side by side with the owner. This is a woman-owned/operated small business, with a team of about 20 folx. Diversity is important to us; we hire and serve equally. We are looking for someone who works with inclusion and respect for all as a guiding ethos. There is a lot of opportunity for the right person who is passionate and driven to succeed.
