Craft Coffee sells amazing coffee experiences. We're building a powerful, global brand by reaching into our customers' everyday rituals, and delivering a disruptively amazing experience. We take great pride in promoting the country's best artisan roasters and the skilled farmers that grow the beans at origin.

Our first product is a monthly subscription tasting box that has been featured in Bon Appetit, Saveur, Food52, Martha Stewart's Everyday Food, Serious Eats and more.


The Position:
We are looking for a highly motivated, tech savvy, social media powerhouse intern to help meet our ambitious goals. Our ideal candidate is very reliable, outgoing, detail oriented and self-motivated.

Interns will receive a communal membership at General Assembly, a co-working campus centered on technology, design and entrepreneurship. Memberships are highly coveted and currently unavailable to the general public. This is an amazing opportunity for an enterprising student to gain hands-on start-up experience and have an immediate impact on our growing business.


Responsibilities:
  • Create original content while maintaining brand voice across all social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, etc.)
  • Contact publications, editors and bloggers to generate press and follow up on PR leads
  • Research other media opportunities, relevant communities, etc.
  • Support team with data entry, administrative work and errands as needed.
Requirements:
  • Current undergrad student (pref rising junior or senior) or recent grad
  • Coursework in Marketing, Media, English or related field preferred
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Extremely social media savvy
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Interest in e-commerce and start-ups
