Looking for a way to get a foot in the door and learn more about media strategy and food policy journalism?

Here is your chance. Civil Eats is currently seeking an editorial intern for the summer. Candidates must possess editorial and writing experience and have a basic understanding of general food systems issues and a willingness to learn more as they go. Previous experience with Wordpress is a bonus, but not absolutely necessary. 

Duties will include writing articles for publication on the site, editing and loading content to the site, and working with writers to develop articles for an ongoing series about local food systems change in the U.S. There will also be an opportunity to participate in discussions about the future of the site and content development. The commitment is between 10-15 hours per week.

This is an unpaid internship position. Candidates may be located anywhere in the U.S.
