Job description
We at Beyond Harvest Foods would like to bring back the old Butcher Shop style to our community. Currently, there is an USDA inspector on premise to further process all meats. The out of the box way of the last 50 years is being replaced by the craft butcher shops of old. As local farmers are growing heritage breeds on pasture, we want to provide the place to cut them up for consumption and connect them to markets. This requires an extensive grinding program.
This position requires HACCP Certification and knowledge of meat industry to implement all needed to breakdown and produce to sell the whole animal. Experience in Italian meats, curing, sausage making, and smoking required.
Compensation
this position is: salaried, 50k-75k
