The Food Network & Cooking Channel New York City Wine & Food Festival presented by Capital One (NYCWFF) is recruiting a Sponsorship Coordinator. Join the exceptional team that plans and executes this amazing festival all while helping in the fight to end hunger! The Sponsorship Coordinator will support the Festival’s Manager, Sponsorship & Business Development and Sponsorship Director with achieving superior event quality, marketing performance, goal attainment, and positive community standing.

We’re looking for a strong relationship builder who wants to be deeply engaged in data management and sponsorship/partnership activation fulfillment of a high-profile event in an ambitious, hardworking organization. The role requires a customer service-focused, goal-oriented, enthusiastic, and optimistic individual who wants to grow their career in event marketing and immerse themselves in the New York City foodscape. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Provide sales support including (but not limited to) drafting proposals and contracts, company research, and other ad hoc tasks to prepare for Festival sponsorship sales period.
  • Manage Sponsorship Tracking document (includes data for flow of communication to all Festival departments) through SalesForce. Facilitate all data entry as it relates to NYCWFF Sponsors, their associated fees, ticketing credit, participating events, and sponsor level, and export reports into Google Doc format for the wider Festival committee.
  • Manage on-site activation details for select Festival exhibitors.
  • Oversee the Sponsor Management team DropBox, containing vital forms for successful on-site Sponsor execution.
  • Create informational packets for sponsors participating at various events.
  • Ensure accuracy of website and collaborate with website manager to update as necessary.
  • Assist with organizing signage needs, proofing signage, and communicating edits and approvals to editors.
  • Oversee trafficking of all sponsor agreements routed to partners through Docusign.
  • Create and manage online forms for sponsors, inclusive of product donations for all events and bill back forms, including Sponsor insurance requirements document and collect/review all submitted COIs from Sponsors.
  • On-site event assistance during weekend of Festival (Oct. 8-11) which includes liaising with sponsors, assisting in sponsor setup and breakdown, photo documenting of sponsor activations, etc.
  • Assist with editing and disseminating post-festival recap and event photography to sponsors.
  • Serve as a back up to the Manager, Sponsorship & Business Development.


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree and some work experience in a professional office environment.
  • One to two years of experience in the sponsorship or events   industries strongly preferred.
  • Passion and enthusiasm for wine and food in New York City; shares that excitement with others.
  • Entrepreneurial: creative, resourceful, and solution-oriented, with an eye for detail.
  • Enjoys working in a dynamic environment, flexible, learns quickly, and thrives wearing multiple hats in an average workday.
  • Track record of self-motivation and thriving independently while closely and appropriately coordinating with team members and contributing to team success.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization, underscored by strong emotional intelligence and tact.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communications (including verbal, written, and presentation) skills and cultural competencies.
  • Impeccable reliability, integrity and discretion, and a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent ability to integrate into teams smoothly and understand requirements quickly.
  • Curious and enthusiastic: willing to learn and try new things.
  • Demonstrated interest in anti-hunger and anti-poverty issues.
  • Enjoys the energy and reward of a seeing hard work come to fruition.

Compensation
