Job description
The Food Sourcing Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all food drive campaigns onsite (e.g. Daily News Food Drive, Feed Our Kids, National Association of Letter Carriers, Passover, and High Holidays) by partnering with internal departments. The Food Sourcing Manager will manage relationships with community partners and solidify sponsors with the Food Sourcing team. From May to December, the Food Sourcing Manager will manage rescues at all 13 Greenmarkets each week. Additionally, the Manager will work closely with Volunteer Services to ensure rescue events are successful for volunteers. This position will report directly to the Associate Director, Food Sourcing & Donor Relations. This position is primarily located at City Harvest’s Midtown Manhattan office with frequent travel to all five boroughs of New York City.
