EarthDance is a teaching farm, sharing the craft and science of organic farming with people from all walks of life. Our 14-acre historic farm provides a model of sustainable food production. Through our Organic Farm School programs, EarthDance cultivates food leaders alongside abundant fresh produce.

Job description
EarthDance is seeking a creative, self-motivated, dynamic individual with excellent communication and organizational skills and experience teaching, coaching, or mentoring youth to serve as our Youth Educator. This individual will further our mission by engaging youth on the farm and in the community in discovery about organic farming, healthy eating, and ecology. The highly qualified candidate will possess experience working with youth from low-income and diverse communities, nutrition and cooking awareness, knowledge of organic farming or gardening, and passion for the good food movement. Requirements:
● Experience teaching, coaching, or mentoring youth
● Experience working with low-income and diverse communities
● Public speaking experience
● Experience working effectively as part of a team
● Professional, friendly, and enthusiastic personality
● Demonstrated ability to lead by example, with a strong work ethic, compassion and integrity
Desired Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree
● Farming or gardening experience
● Nutrition and healthy cooking knowledge
● Proficiency with Windows Microsoft Office, Google Drive and Google Calendar
Compensation
this position is: salaried, less than 50k
