Commonwealth Joe Coffee Roasters (CWJ) is a premium specialty coffee roaster and retailer that pioneered Nitro Cold Brew coffee on tap in offices in the DC Metro area. Since 2017, CWJ has expanded Office Nitro operations to New York City, Philadelphia, and Baltimore. 

With over 14 years of roasting experience, our mission is to breathe new life into an ancient craft and make amazing coffee approachable. That’s why we brought our coffee into offices, own and operate The Java Shack in Courthouse, opened Commonwealth Joe Coffee Roasters in Pentagon City, and launched a fleet of Nitro Cold Brew trikes across Arlington.

Job description

Join our fast-growing coffee company as a Brand Ambassador! As a Brand Ambassador, you are responsible for conducting tastings & hosting events on client sites. Brand Ambassadors are the face of the Company and assist in sharing the Commonwealth Joe brand with potential clients. You would spend your time traveling to prospective client accounts in the Washington DC region to lead Nitro Cold Brew tastings and share your passion for coffee with the masses. This is a part-time position and hours are flexible.

What You’ll Do

• Use creativity to better build brand awareness among community members and engage with customers.
• Conduct Nitro Cold Brew tastings at prospective accounts.
• Work with Events Manager to plan and execute events at Office & Wholesale accounts to build relationships and spread brand awareness.
• Develop expertise in CWJ products and services, the Company, and Office & Wholesale brewing equipment, kegerators, repair standards and parts.
• Assist the Customer Experience Manager with special projects, analysis, and requests as needed.

• Having your own transportation is preferred but not required.

Compensation

this position is: hourly, varies DOE, $17.00 - $21.00
