Ninety percent of our grains are grown by Texas farmers, using sustainable organic practices. Our grains come straight from the farmer’s combine to our door. It doesn’t get much simpler than that!
We mill on demand for our wholesale customers and weekly for retail.
We offer whole grains and an array of whole grain and sifted flours for all baking, culinary, brewing, and distilling needs.

JOB TITLEAssociate Miller (40 hrs./week)
ACCOUNTABILITY
The Associate Miller is directly responsible to Lead Miller.
JOB SUMMARY
The Associate Miller assists the Lead Miller in all mill room activities during the day’s production. The Associate Miller is also responsible for mill room and warehouse hygiene and organization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Mill Room Responsibilities:
- Assist with milling, sifting, and packaging as assigned by the Lead Miller
- Carry out all tasks related to mill room hygiene, and work with Seed Cleaning Crew on warehouse hygiene
- Option to work with Seed Cleaning Crew
- Other tasks as assigned by the Lead Miller
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Maintain adequate inventory of supplies for packaging and shipping
- Work in the retail room as needed
- Make local deliveries as needed, with additional compensation for mileage
QUALIFICATIONS AND NEEDED ATTRIBUTES
- Two years experience in a manufacturing or food production setting
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Standing for extended periods
- Climbing ladder
- Able to work as part of a team
- Communicative
- Able to work in a clean and organized manner
Compensation
this position is: hourly, varies DOE, $12.00 - $14.00Application instructions
