Company description

Fulton Farms is a holistically managed organic grazing operation utilizing multi-species of farm animals.  Our land base is a combination of native rangeland, irrigated pastures, and irrigated cropland watered with several types of irrigation systems.  We also raise some organic grain crops, cover crops and hay in a rotation.  We are located in the Loess Hills and Clear Creek Valley of central Nebraska.  Our operation is well recognized as a model for humane and sustainable farming.  We've hosted visitors from around the world and have been featured in numerous publications, books, and documentaries.

Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has a desire to learn and a passion for regenerative farming.  Experience with livestock and farm machinery is desired but we're willing to train someone with a high aptitude for these skills.  Ability to analyze and solve problems is important.  We give full time employees the opportunity to create and manage their own enterprises in addition to their other obligations.  This acts as a financial bonus to a full time salary and gives employees an added learning experience by having ownership in an enterprise(s) that they have a specific interest in.  We also expect an individual to assist in all facets of our operation and participate in continuing education events. This position may require supervising several part time employees. 

Compensation

this position is: salaried, varies DOE, $25,000.00 - $40,000.00
