Job description

The New Mexico Department of Agriculture Organic Program (Organic Program) is seeking a qualified Organic Certifier/Inspector to be a part of the Organic Program team. This qualified candidate will be responsible for providing inspection and certification to new applicants and current organically certified clients, in accordance to the National Organic Program Standards.

A bachelor's degree in agriculture or related field is required.  Farm experience, especially on organic operations, is preferred.  This position will require travel.  The amount varies depending on season and experience.  The position will be based out of the Clovis/ Portales area of New Mexico, with trips to Albuquerque for training.  No office facilities are available, this is a work-from-home position.  Laptop will be provided.

this position is: salaried, less than 50k
