Good Food Jobs is a job search tool designed to link people looking for meaningful food work with the businesses that need their energy, enthusiasm, and intellect. We post opportunities with farmers and food artisans, policy makers and purveyors, retailers and restaurateurs, economists, ecologists, and more.

Our job search engine is a work in progress. Check out these and other web developments on goodfoodjobs.com :
We devoted out weekly web development resources to our WDS supplement page. Stay tuned to further coverage and an opportunity to win a ticket to next year's summit, while putting positive contributions into the world.
Do you have a recommendation? Constructive criticism? Or have you noticed a glitch? Let us know. And stay tuned for more updates. We're always scheming.
NICE THINGS PEOPLE SAY
Again and again, I am so impressed by your thoughtfulness, your ability/standard to respond to EVERY email, and your lightning speed turn-around. The attention and consideration that you put into your company and community is truly woven through all that you do. I rarely mean it more than now, when I say: thank you for your email!

The adventures continue. While we know we dangled a big carrot in front of you with word of the World Domination Summit, Taylor is still typing away in Pacific Standard Time, wrapping up her visit.
Stay tuned for the official event recap next Tuesday.
In the meantime, she's got one more day to soak up the food culture in Stumptown (Portland, OR, of course), especially given that she was busy with official business since she arrived. Now it's time to hit the city, GFJ style, and we're eager to do it with you.
If you are around, meet Taylor at Salt & Straw Ice Cream at 6:30 PM. If this weekend has been any indication, we'll have plenty of time to chat while on line waiting for our cones.
DETAILS

We hope to see you there. Just drop us a line so we can keep an eye out for you. Taylor will be the one carrying a basket, naturally.
LAST CALL
SCHOLARSHIPS FOR
FOOD SYSTEMS CAREER EVENT
APPLICATION DEADLINE 11:59 PM EDT TONIGHT 07.14.15
Saturday July 19th, 2014
Winvian / Morris, CT
To all of the aspiring farmers, food educators, foragers, and future food professionals (yeah, we had a feeling that might be you):
CT NOFA is hosting a one-day educational event this Saturday July 19th featuring talks from:
There are still 50 free scholarships available (apply here), and we're aiming to fill them all through GFJ (we hit a few dozen last week).
If it's lack of transportation that's holding you back, let us know. If we get a critical mass in a certain area we're eager to work some GFJ magic and arrange for a contingent to caravan. Yes, it's a shameless ploy for us to see what happens when you get several gastronomes in a vehicle together (besides best road snacks ever, which is a given).
Will it be the Brooklyn-based bunch that pulls through? Or will Boston do better? Or maybe a college crew or a CSA seeking some education.
Whoever you are, we're looking forward to seeing you there.
Cheers,
Taylor & Dorothy

It can be hard to discuss the complicated matter of money, but we appreciate Asha's honesty in sharing how she went from a Wall Street salary to food blogger's non-salary. The truth is: money was on her mind. And why shouldn't it be? We all want to make a living doing meaningful work. We're excited to share the story of how Asha did just that. Read More
