Salt & Straw is a small batch, handmade ice cream company based in Portland, Oregon.

We’re beyond excited to be opening our first scoop shop in Larchmont Village this summer and we’re over the moon to be named one of the top ten most anticipated restaurant openings of the summer by Zagat!

We take pride that both our shops and our ice cream are a reflection of the local community, so we’ve recreated our entire menu using local cream and collaborating with a cast of farmers, chefs, cheese-makers, brewers, and butchers from Southern California to the Central Coast.

We’re striving to be the happiest part of people’s day and this starts with our team! We have seen many amazing things happen in our shops, including wedding proposals, job offers and first dates… We’re looking for a diverse group of individuals who all share a common interest of taking care of each other and our guests...helping make Salt & Straw the best place to work.

We are hiring for all positions including scoopers, leads and managers for our shop in LA, located in Larchmont Village!

• Availability to work days, evenings, summers and holidays
  
• Current Food Handler’s card
  
• Respect for safety and hygiene standards
  
• Ability to work in close proximity to others (personal space)
  
• Can physically and emotionally handle long periods (6-8 hours) of customer service
