BUILT TO LAST . . .
We live in a world that seems to prize more / bigger / faster above all else. It seems as though products are increasingly designed to become obsolete almost immediately - through construction, technology or media - all in the name of encouraging more consumption when next year's fads plow through like the latest summer storm.
And we loathe it.
As you know by now, we are unlikely internet entrepreneurs. We crave things that are built to last - even if they take longer to make, cost more money, and don't keep up with the latest trends.
So when this world starts imposing it's overwhelming values on you, we ask that you step back and decide what holds meaning for you. The world needs people with lasting qualities, and that means being yourself, even when it feels radical.
If you're looking for a way to test your strength in a fun and meaningful way, experiment with us in the first ever GFJ Challenge. If you're looking for a chance to be part of something lasting, consider making a donation to the the Wayfinding Academy - it could be an investment in your own education.
May your foundation be strong,
Taylor & Dorothy
