IT SEEMS LIKE ONCE EVERY SUMMER . . . we send a newsletter that states the obvious: step away from your computer screen and get outside (yes, that even means put your mobile phone aside - looking at and/or taking Instagram photos of the outdoors is no substitute for experiencing nature).
This time of year there is so much to see and do. Get your feet in the water, put your hands in the soil, weed, walk, sit by the fire, stare at the stars. While the extreme heat of the northeast has everyone racing for their AC or heading to the movie theatre for some reprieve, remember that the natural world provides so much entertainment. The fireflies have been putting on free light shows, the wildflowers gift us a new selection every week, and the birds, crickets and other creatures provide an instant soundtrack that rivals anything that you can stream online.
May you enjoy the magic of summer, appreciating the cadence of the ever earlier sunsets, the feel of salt water on your skin, or the sticky hands and chin you get from eating perfectly ripe peaches and plums. These gifts come for short periods every year. We hope that you have the opportunity to get outdoors and live with nature. She's such a powerful companion.
Stay cool,
Taylor & Dorothy

What's in the works besides mobile? We're working on an enhanced registration, revamped Post a Job page, an employer-only newsletter, and a much more robust Education page. Summer seems to breed ideas and we are eager to implement as many as possible before the start of the school year.
Don't worry, we balance it with work trades on farms and ample time in the garden, peach picking, and outdoor eating. We always try to practice what we preach.
our job search engine is a work in progress. do you have a recommendation? constructive criticism? or have you noticed a glitch? let us know. we're improving every day.
