Packaging Lead Kate McLeod +1 more

  • Date Posted July 24, 2024
  • Location Red Hook, NY
  • Category Production
  • Job type Full-Time
Company description
Pastry Chef Turned Beauty Entrepreneur / Sephora Beauty Brand
  • Kate McLeod was a pastry chef with dry skin until she started using one of her favorite ingredients, cocoa butter, on her body. The results were transformational.
  • But raw cocoa butter is a rock hard solid and difficult to apply. As a pastry chef, Kate looks at everything through a food lens. She thought about how she worked with chocolate, went into the kitchen, and blended in her favorite oils, which absorb easily through the skin.
  • After years of perfecting the recipe, the Body Stone was born. A cocoa butter concentrate that intensely nourishes dry skin.
  • Fun Fact: Today, we make all of our products in a historic chocolate factory (a nod to Kate McLeod’s origin story)!
