Company description An ethical and agriculturally-centered manufacturing operation celebrating all things blackcurrant in the Hudson Valley.  We produce a botanical blackcurrant aperitif from ingredients sourced in the immediate vicinity of our winery/distillery in Rhinebeck, NY.  Located on a 35 acre property and small farm, we also operate an intimate tasting room which opens to the public on weekends and is available for small event bookings, workshops, and art happenings throughout the week. Job description  This role gives you the opportunity to creatively shape and manage all future sales and marketing for an exciting independently owned and operated alcohol brand with high growth potential.  Role will include corresponding with local and national distributors + stockists, launching online DTC operations, and leading onsite event sales.  The right candidate has experience with beverage alcohol, managing multi-channel sales and revenue streams, and a vested interest in NY State agriculture.  Wine knowledge and a service background are a plus.  The Sales Manager role has been built out by the company founder who has been leading these operations for the past four years and with whom the right candidate will work directly.  This position will entail an intimate understanding of and knowledge about the brand, products, and process.  C. Cassis is operated by a small and dynamic team who make decisions collectively and thoughtfully. We are looking for someone who can embrace the existing ethos of the brand and enrich what we are capable of. Salary is comprised of a base and competitive commission on gross sales.
