You will oversee operations and customer service, starting with our first location. You'll ensure a professional, fun, and positive environment for both team members and guests. Lead a team of enthusiastic ice cream lovers, and make a real impact on our business.
The ideal candidate is extremely organized, passionate about operations, with a zeal for creating magical experiences for kids and adults alike. The district manager will drive effectiveness and efficiency not just by implementing existing systems, but creating new ones that fit our business.

Responsibilities:
- Recruit, hire, train, supervise, coach, and counsel team members
- Foster and lead an environment of sales driving in all channels to meet sales budgets and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations
- Control inventory and manage purchased spend
- Plan, organize, coordinate, and manage ice cream preparation and sales operations
- Drive operational solutions to issues that arise in the stores
- Enforce Heap's Ice Cream corporate policies and procedures
- Place purchase orders for supplies, commodities, and associated products
- Maintain recipes, pricing, and portion control
- Report human resources or customer incidents to Heap's Ice Cream leadership
Qualifications:
- Passion for ice cream and customer service
- Experience in food service or fast-casual dining or hospitality required.
- 5+ years of experience in a manager position
- NYC DOH Food handlers license required
- Leadership experience in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and cleanliness and organization
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google-suite tools
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to train and coach team members of all levels
- Able to push/pull 40 lbs of weight
- Able to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Open availability, Monday-Sunday, 40+ hours a week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
