We are looking for someone with thoughtful, kind, confident + clear communication who is both a great team player and also takes leadership and initiative in their own role, as you'll get a chance to stretch both of these muscles in this role! As a business, the majority of our sales come from our bountiful Farmers Markets in ATL. That's where you come in!

Petals, our founder and Ayurvedic practitioner, has been working with our incredible team at building these markets for multiple years, educating our community about our mission and products. We have created a loyal following at our markets, especially Peachtree Road and Grant Park Farmers Market, the two markets we are hiring a Market Lead for. They are truly so fun to be a part of. The market family and customer community plus all of the local produce and goods weave together to create such a special energy and weekend ritual!

We have now grown into multiple markets and therefore need multiple ambassadors / Market Staff to carry on our mission to connect our community with the healing products + foods-as-medicine that would greatly support them!

As a Market Lead, you will work early Saturday and Sunday mornings setting up our booth then working alongside another lovely Woodland Wellness Market Support staff member during the market. You'll both breaking down the gear at the end, then you'll transport it home, where you'll keep it stored during the week. 

Shift times: 

• Thursday or Friday: 1.5-2 hrs prepping + packing
• Saturday from 7:15am - 1pm, then unpacking for 1 hr at home
• Sunday from 8:00am - 2pm, then unpacking for 1.5 hrs at home
• Total weekend hours = approximately 18 hrs 
• Total weekend payment = $280/weekend ($15+/hr) plus tips (approx. $80-160/weekend) PLUS substantial end of year bonus

*Note requirements for this position:

1. A reliable large car or SUV to transport Market Gear
2. Some storage space at your house (like a garage or something similar) to house a stand up freezer, a fridge and a storage rack
3. A strong, able body that can lift heavy coolers, small kegs, etc.
4. A positive and buoyant disposition 

 

Our candidate must have passion and/or experience in the health and wellness or herbalism world. They should be well organized with an eye for detail and quality, as that is what sets our brand apart! Although the position is customer service, it feels much different (and more enjoyable + fulfilling) than other typical customer service positions. Clear, thoughtful communication is at the forefront of this position and also the #1 value in our workplace.
