Job description

Fat Toad Farm is a small family run goat dairy in Central Vermont specializing in making goat's milk caramel and fresh goat cheese.  We are looking for 3 interns for the Sept - Dec 2012 time frame. (The Feb - Sept internships are full). An internship at Fat Toad Farm gives you the opportunity to learn every aspect of an agriculture based business, from the care and feeding of our goats, pigs and chickens, to milking, to making caramel and cheese, to marketing and events.  Each intern also will be working with our neighbors who have a well established farmers market garden and wreath business.  This fall internships runs 4 months. Nice housing set up, amazing food (we grow/raise 80% of what we eat), weekly stipend. Interesting agricultural area with many other small diversified farms that we work with closely on projects such as cider making.
