AgSquared is bringing online farm planning, management and record keeping tools to small farms, and helping farmers all over the world better manage their businesses to become more productive, profitable and sustainable. We are looking for a teammate to support our growing user base and build an engaged community of software users.
The
User Engagement and Support Coordinator will be the primary contact person for our early users. Working directly with the company’s founders and product development team, you will devise user support strategies, engage users in discussion about new features, identify bug fixes and usability enhancements, and solicit feedback about AgSquared’s product. Your role will also include primary responsibility for providing technical support to all AgSquared users and ensuring that they are well trained to use the software effectively.
This is a part-time remote position that requires a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week. You should feel comfortable working from home and with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of productivity.
Responsibilities include:

Devising strategies for user engagement and user support

Facilitating group discussion / online community activity (forums) among the users

Recruiting input / feedback on new features, support materials etc.

Answering emails, responding to user comments and questions about AgSquared
Required qualifications:
Knowledge of agricultural production – ideally you’ve spent some time working on a farm.
Excellent communication skills – it is imperative that your communications are clear and thorough and that you are able to provide answers that make sense to folks who have different levels of comfort with online software.
Patience – they say patience is a virtue – and for this role it’s a job requirement. We are looking for a user engagement coordinator who is patient and friendly in his or her communications and who is willing to hold the user’s hand until the issue is resolved.
Comfort with software – we don’t ask that you know how to build software, but you do need to feel at ease learning a modern cloud-based software platform to the point where you would be comfortable explaining to anyone – even your grandma.
