Ithaca Beer Company is seeking an Experienced Production Brewer.
ABOUT
Established in 1998, IBC is currently producing around 12,000 bbl annually and has been growing at roughly 25% per year for the past 13 years. We recently broke ground on our new brewery/pub on a beautiful 80 acre parcel where we will grow hops and support our farm to table restaurant.
IBC is highly respected in the craft brewery trade, having won many awards at the Great American Beer Festival and a Final Four in the National IPA Championship.
This is an exciting opportunity to help IBC sustain our momentum as we transition into the new brewery operation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary roles for the Brewer position will be: wort production, cellar maintenance, sanitation, yeast handling, recipe formulation, staff education/training, QA/QC, and a representative of the brewery at various events and functions.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications.

A formal brewing education.

A minimum of 3 years experience brewing in a Regional (15,000bbls) Craft Brewery.

COMPENSATION
Salary is dependent on work experience.
