lucky peach is seeking a circulation specialist who will manage the day-to-day operations of our various distribution channels, and oversee the development, planning, and execution of programs to boost circulation.

some things you'll be doing:

• oversees distribution, serving as primary point of contact at the magazine printer: creates schedules, uploads materials, works on promotional schedules for issue distribution, manages relationship with distributors
• oversees back-end logistics on digital subscription launch and maintenance
• assists with the planning, implementation, and analysis of customized marketing plans for building subscription and single-copy circulation, as well as special interest publications
• prepares circulation reports, which may include monthly circulation updates, performance against budget, profit/loss analysis, sales by source, source evaluation, circulation history statistics, etc
• works to understand and utilize any third-party reports and uses them to forecast circulation levels
• serves as the key team contact for subscription system at palm coast data and consultants that may be engaged from time to time.
• approves any list rentals, negotiates exchanges, and maintains reports
• works with others in the offices to coordinate all communication and activity with shared vendors and suppliers
• assists in the evaluation and planning for subscriber renewal marketing strategies

skills & requirements:

• strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• an analytical mindset that delights in gathering data, analyzing it, and using it creatively
• excellent verbal and communication skills
• a self-starter and a team player who is energized by the challenges facing traditional print media
• familiarity with and passion for the lucky peach brand and a very firm grasp of the restaurant and food media world
• experience working with distribution and fulfillment centers and palm coast data is preferred
