We are looking for an Events & Marketing Manager who will execute all private events, special events and marketing activities for our new CityCenterDC location in Washington dc.
As Events & Marketing Manager, you will also serve as the main point of contact for these events and activities in this exciting new market for us!
Private Event Sales & Execution
- Actively develop and manage relationships with private event clientele
- Promote momofuku dc’s private event program to the community
- Work with chefs and beverage managers to create competitive and attractive private event menus and offerings
- Develop and maintain outward facing private event-specific materials (website, printed materials, menus, social media)
- Manage all aspects of private event sales (fielding inquiries, site visits and client meetings, developing proposals and negotiating contracts)
- Serve as main point of contact for private event clients and communicate client needs to restaurant staff
- Oversee event-related finances, including pricing, sales goals, costing, client deposits and payments
- Define monthly and quarterly event sales goals; communicate and evaluate progress against these goals with global directors of events and marketing
- Ensure all private events are executed to best of our ability
- Plan, coordinate and execute special events & holiday offerings for momofuku dc, including holiday-specific events, guest chef events and off-site public-facing events
- Serve as the main point of contact between outside special event partners and momofuku
- Execute marketing/promotional campaigns for all momofuku dc special events (with the digital media team)
- Work with head chef and gm to develop special event opportunities, especially during the holiday season
- Assist with special event social media initiatives
Marketing & Public Relations
- Execute a yearly marketing plan targeted towards dc-specific markets
- Facilitate press opportunities for momofuku dc, including photos shoots and video shoots
- Manage all outreach efforts in the washington, d.c. community
- Manage and generate content for all dc-specific social media content
- Work with director of marketing to manage charity donations
- Develop and maintain relations with local businesses & cultural institutions
- Assist with website updates
What you need to be considered:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3-4 years of related experience
- 1 year of supervisory experience
- Familiarity in the dc community and network highly preferred
- Ability to work independently and to handle multiple priorities & activities
- Strong understanding of dc-specific markets
