Job description

Radish is a prepared foods store that focuses on creating seasonal menus. We only use the highest quality seasonal ingredients and pride ourselves in putting out dishes that are fresh and inventive.

We are seeking cooks for both morning and evening shifts as well as for catering events.

Radish is located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We are a rapidly growing company and there are many opportunities for growth within our organization within the next year. We are looking for folks who are reliable, flexible and who take direction well. The ideal candidates will have a passion for seasonal ingredients, will be consistent and have had strong experiences with different culinary techniques. We expect cooks to maintain a clean and organized kitchen and to work collaboratively with the rest of the team.

Job Responsibilities and Duties
• Responsible for the efficient, consistent, accurate, and organized production of dishes needed for the daily operation of the store as well as for catering events
• Assist in accepting and properly storing any deliveries received during shifts
• Follow prep lists according to specific recipe and prep list guidelines
• Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products prepared
• Assist with inventory on products
• Assist with the production of catering orders
• Maintain a high level of focus, professionalism and cleanliness

Requirements
• Minimum of 2-4 years cooking experience. Culinary training preferred but not required
• Strong references at MUST.
• Must be willing to take on additional unseen duties.
• Must have a strong work ethic and be reliable.
