Myers Produce is hiring a Massachusetts-based farm pick-up driver!  Myers is a new regional produce distributor that operates out of Vermont and Massachusetts.  We purchase fresh fruit and vegetables directly from farmers throughout Vermont and Western Mass, and sell this produce to wholesale customers within New York City and Boston.  Especially as spring and summer vegetables fill our truck to overflow, we want to have someone who can complete our Northern driving route efficiently, and is excited about the mission behind our distribution network.

Responsibilities

• Pick up orders from farms throughout Vermont
• Communicate honestly and effectively with our team about any notes and details of their independent driving shift
• Help organize loads of produce at a warehouse in Massachusetts

The ideal candidate for this position:

• Is observant, has excellent attention to detail
• Is comfortable driving a 14-ft International 4300
• Understands how critical their role is to Myers Produce
• Likes physical work, is able to lift 40-50 lb boxes 
• Has experience working in or around food and farms
• Is interested in our mission
• Has a smart phone (not required, but it's helpful).

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• Clean driving record
