Brooklyn Brine has moved our operations to a larger facility within Industry City in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, and we are looking for full-time
picklers to join our team.
We are right about 6 years old, and have had an amazing growth spurt, putting our product available nation and worldwide! All of this without compromising the integrity of our product. All of our production is done by hand by a small crew in our Brooklyn factory, with no artificial ingredients or crisping agents. We make real food!!!
A day at Brooklyn brine consists of the following:
*Daily production of shelf stable, and/or food service pickles. (cleaning, prepping vegetables, mixing spice mix, making brine, filling, capping, processing (shelf-stabilizing), labeling, palletizing, daily
ph testing), small batch fermentation, weekly inventory, weekly UPS shipping, building/wrapping orders, lifting of up to
50lbs, etc.
We ask that applicants have professional kitchen experience, basic knife skills, experience handling kitchen equipment, ability to lift
50lbs, and work well as part of a team. We will train the ins and outs of pickling from there!
For the right person, there is definitely room for growth within the company and job stability.
Our starting pay rate is $14 hourly. We have a Monday-Friday,
8am-4pm schedule, with some overtime.
