Transition Lab is looking for a Website Developer. 

If you aren't familiar with Transition Lab, we are an educational program that teaches people to meet their basic needs through relationships. In other words, we have created economically viable models for people to spend their lives building permaculture gardens, starting tiny house communities, or living more simply. 

Now that our program is a few years old and has had some good publicity, there are folks from around the world who contact us each week, wanting our graduates to come live with them and help create a more beautiful world. 

That's why we need you! 

We want to create a website called SkilledResident.Com which would be like a combination of AirBnb and WWoof.org. This website would be a database that could connect our graduates and other awesome creatives with potential hosts across the world. What we already have is a business plan and most of the content necessary for the website. What we need is somebody who can help us deliver that content seamlessly. 

Your job would be to come out and attend the Summertime Intensive for free (A $4750 value) where you would also learn to meet your basic needs through relationship. Your rent, utilities, classes, and most of your food will be covered by the program. What we would ask in exchange is that you put $4750 worth of sweat equity into the project. When that was done, you would have the chance to become a business partner with us on the project.
