Job description

From The Ground Brewery, a New York State Farm Brewery, is looking for a salesperson for the Saturday Hudson Valley Farmers' Market and the Sunday Rhinebeck Farmers' Market. The position will start in May or June 2015.

Responsibilities include:

• On time arrival
• Set-up of display and table
• Talking about beer
• Giving sample tastings
• Checking ID
• Selling beer
• Operating Square Card Reader
• Keeping cash secure
• Breaking down and packing up
• Inventory
• Must be able to work outside in all types of weather

If you aren't a beer nerd that is OK.
If you are a beer snob, that is NOT OK.
I am not looking for a craft beer preacher.
It is more important to be friendly and welcoming, but be able to close the sale.
Beard Not required

From The Ground Brewery is very new and there are opportunities to grow with the company. You will be an on-the-books employee of the company. Starting pay is $12/hr.
