THE COMPANY
Daniel Delaney is a food personality, web video producer, blogger, and host / creator of web shows VendrTV and What's This Food?!. His work is watched by hundreds of thousands of hungry foodies, and has been featured on the CBS Evening News, USA Today, and the LA Times.

THE SHOWS
VendrTV is a web show all about the nation's best street food. Since its conception in 2008, Dan & his crew have traveled the country documenting the best mobile food artisans from Maine to Miami!

What's This Food?! is a daily video series produced in Brooklyn, NY that will be running from Jan 1, 2011 until Dec 31st, 2011. Each day a new episode is posted which explores a different unfamiliar, intimidating, or otherwise unknown ingredient by both Dan and his audience. Each episode includes a history, handling lesson, and a recipe. Additionally, each episode is sponsored by a different artisanal food brand.

THE POSITION
Seeking an intern interested in helping out with the day to day of food media creating, including creating video for the web, shooting food, cooking, writing scripts, distributing content, and creating community and engagement around the properties.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Below are the possible activities one might partake in. Happy to entertain folks interested in some, or all of the tasks below:

• Social Media Engagement (contests & promotions, conversation, fostering connectivity)
• Blogging
• Video Pre & Post Production
• Web Design & Development

REQUIREMENTS
Applicants should have some experience with online video, social media, and enjoy eating - but most of all, be hungry to learn, play, and experiment. The only requirement is that you're free to work out of our home office in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY.
