Head of Food Safety:
 
Maplebrook Farm produces artisanal cheeses in the mountains of southern Vermont. We have 50 employees and in the summer months are producing roughly 40,000 pounds of cheese weekly. We are currently in a factory that is 10,000 square ft but are building an additional 10,000 sq ft with an extensive expansion for 2015. With that step, we are looking to have a strong food safety initiative in place and are seeking someone to be the head of food safety operations here at the factory.  This head of food safety would need to have knowledge in the following areas: 3rd-party audits, recall programs, HACCP, lab testing, shelf life, microbiology and other various areas related to cleanliness and food safety. We are looking for someone with a strong dairy background and significant cheese understanding. This will be a full-time manager position.
