Job description
Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg, Brooklyn is looking to hire a full time Event Sales Director to oversee all aspects of the hotel’s dynamic events business. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of combined experience in event sales, hospitality, and food and beverage and will be comfortable overseeing a team and handling financial reporting. The candidate will report directly to the hotel partners and will manage a team of 3 sales managers.
Responsibilities

Working knowledge of operations

Budgeting and profit management

Pricing and competitive monitoring

Monthly reporting including key performance metrics, lead generation, revenue and operations

Maintenance and upkeep of all marketing materials including photography, collateral design, sales materials, website, menus, third party listings, SEO and partnerships

Lead weekly team meetings

Conduct performance reviews and monitor team progress

Interface directly with F&B and Operations teams
Job Requirements

Fluency with financials, budgeting, and costing

Self-starter: Candidate must have the desire to drive the business forward

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Motivated, high level of energy and work ethic

Fluency with Microsoft Office, Excel, google docs, and online lead program

Familiarity with restaurant POS system a plus

Knowledge of Williamsburg and ability to represent the neighborhood a plus
