About Us:

The mission of Uncommon Good is to break the intergenerational cycle of poverty through programs in education, health, urban farming and the environment.

Position Description:

The Urban Farms Program Manager duties are:
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of farmers, volunteers and interns
  • Manage inventory, production, marketing and sales
  • Gather and analyze cost, production and sales data
  • Supervise high school and college interns
  • Assist the Executive Director with specific projects
  • Serve as liaison for community land and fruit partners
  • Manage the distribution of food to the hungry
Requirements:
  • Be passionate about creating a local, healthy, just, sustainable food system
  • Fluency in Spanish
  • Farm program management experience
  • Excellent data collection and management skills
  • Mature communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable with rapid change and growth in the workplace
  • Four year college degree
Compensation:
  • Salary of $50,000 annually
  • Health benefits for self, spouse and children if there is no other source of coverage
