Job Description
Beer Table To Go, a boutique beer and food retail shop located in Grand Central Terminal, is looking to immediately hire super-friendly sales people with retail experience who are capable of learning management tasks and selling beer and food in a very fast paced environment.
Time Commitment: Part-time (3-4 shifts/week) with potential for growth, Weekends, nights, and holiday work shifts are mandatory - we are not hiring for 9am-5am workers. Hiring will be contingent on a minimum 6 month commitment.
Applicants must meet these qualifications: Strong fundamental beer knowledge, Excellent customer service, Ability to help meet and exceed retail sales goals, Strong work ethic, Self-motivated - always looks for something to do, Organizational and follow-up skills, Detail-oriented, Ability to multi-task, Strong verbal and written communication skills, Must have flexible schedule to work nights, weekends, and holidays, Professional appearance, Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, nimble and comfortable working in small spaces
Essential Job Responsibilities: Provide excellent customer service to clients, Responsible for helping to maintain and increase sales, Capable of opening and closing the shop independently, Maintain and organize beer and food inventory on sales floor and stock room, Learn how to pour draft beer out of our unique growler station, Help with everyday up keep of shop, including cleaning, Communicate constantly with management and ownership about daily events Compensation this position is : hourly How to apply
