Job description
The Company: Brooklyn-based Sea to Table works nationally with fishermen from small-scale sustainable wild fisheries shipping directly from the landing dock to our chef partner's kitchens. Chefs need to know who is producing the food they serve, the how and where of its harvest. Fishermen need better markets, and to know where the fruits of their hard and dangerous labor are enjoyed. Sea to Table provides that connection.
Position Purpose: As a growing but lean company, Sea to Table is seeking to further develop it’s financial management systems and is looking for the right person to grow with us. This job has the potential to become full-time.
Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks: Bookkeeping including monthly reconciliation of accounts, Accounts receivable, Accounts payable, financial report creation and review. Assist with cash flow management and systematic review of projections. Other duties as required.
Qualifications: Minimum 2-3 years related accounting experience Experience with Quickbooks, Netsuite or other accounting software
Preferences: A self-motivated individual who likes to problem solve, has excellent communication skills and is interested in joining a dynamic team. Immediate availability is essential.
Pay: commensurate with experience
