Job Description
We are currently soliciting applicants for our Fall 2014 food accelerator program. The program, hosted by Food-X in New York City, will bring together 10 qualified business startups into a coworking space, provide in-depth business education and coaching in areas related to small business skills and entrepreneurship, and mentoring from food industry luminaries and highly experienced company founders and investors. In addition to the educational experience, Food-X will provide up to $40K in funding for the 3.5 month program and the possibility for additional funding once the business is launched. In exchange for this Food-X will take a 6% - 10% stake in the companies.
Founded in 2014, Food-X is the first international business accelerator program focused on launching food-related ventures. Food-X partners with early-stage food entrepreneurs to bring out their best potential and take them and their products and services successfully to market. We look for founders who are passionate about solving problems in addressable markets and who wish to better our future in food, health, and environment through innovation.
